For a company operating in machinery and equipment manufacturing, energy production, oil production, and various other industries, we are seeking an EHS Manager who will evaluate the environment, equipment, maintenance, and processes in operational areas to ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards. The primary objective is to safeguard employees, customers, and the environment. The role entails responsibility for all aspects of the EHS & Maintenance strategy, including the development, implementation, and advancement of continuous improvement plans and business continuity plans, while meeting or surpassing all local and company standards.


Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all EHS activities on-site to ensure adherence to local regulations and company procedures.
  • Implement and execute EHS programs/processes and maintain site-specific EHS documentation and plans.
  • Provide guidance and interpretation of EHS regulations and requirements.
  • Collaborate with the global EHS team to manage site EHS compliance activities such as inspections, training, monitoring, and sampling.
  • Drive EHS compliance through audits, process/equipment reviews, and site inspections.
  • Lead the site's injury and illness prevention program, including incident/accident investigations and the development of corrective and preventive action plans.
  • Lead site risk elimination/reduction activities.
  • Collaborate on innovative solutions and effective problem diagnosis both within and outside the Factory.
  • Work with Operations and other teams to implement programs, including change management, and foster a proactive and positive safety culture.
  • Manage budgets and ensure cost-effectiveness.
  • Apply in-depth technical knowledge and analytical thinking to execute policy/strategy.


Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Relevant Degree
  • Strong EHS experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment, with exposure to or practical knowledge of LEAN manufacturing practices.
  • Experience managing hazardous waste and other environmental programs.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills in English and fluent Polish.
  • Advanced computer skills, primarily with MS Office software programs such as Excel and PowerPoint.
