Responsibilities:
- Strategic Advice: Provide strategic guidance on a variety of T&I (Transport and Installation) assignments, including supporting clients in developing winning strategies for auction processes and major investment projects for supply chain market entry.
- Technical Due Diligence: Conduct technical due diligence for large and complex financial transitions, taking responsibility for the T&I scope.
- Project Role in T&I Package: Assume a key role in the T&I Package within our Owner’s Engineer service delivery, managing package interfaces, program, risk, and change management processes, while supporting a multidisciplinary project team.
- Tendering Processes: Lead work packages related to the technical preparation, coordination, and management of T&I scope tendering processes. This includes collaborating with external stakeholders and clients, reviewing offers, and performing technical evaluations.
- Standardization Initiatives: Support standardization processes across the Wind Advisory team by developing standard and modular technical requirements for contracting the T&I scope in international projects.
Requirements:
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; a master’s degree or other advanced degree is preferred.
- Professional Experience: At least 5 years of relevant experience in offshore construction project development, execution, and/or operation, working within an offshore engineering company, offshore contractor, or as a Marine Warranty Surveyor.
- Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the design and engineering, operational challenges, interfaces, and risks associated with offshore wind farm development.
- Practical Experience: Preferably, hands-on experience in on-site or method engineering, specifically in cable laying, wind turbine generator (WTG) installation, floating wind, or general offshore operations.
- HSE Knowledge: Familiarity with health, safety, and environmental requirements for offshore construction projects.
- Client Interaction: Proven ability to present technical options to clients, including the evaluation of options based on cost.
