We are supporting our client – an international offshore wind developer – in finding an experienced Consents Senior Specialist to take a leading role in securing all necessary permits and ensuring regulatory compliance during the construction phase of the Wind Farm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the permitting process for the construction and operation of the offshore wind farm.
- Ensure compliance with all permit and consent conditions throughout the construction phase.
- Act as the project’s Subject Matter Expert on permitting and consents.
- Liaise with both statutory and non-statutory authorities.
- Interface closely with Engineering and EPCI packages across the project.
- Oversee the transfer of permitting requirements to all EPCI packages and ensure alignment.
- Prepare permit applications where required and conduct technical reviews of documentation.
- Coordinate with environmental teams and support PMO on risk, schedule, and change management.
- Manage external consultants and contractors, ensuring timely and budget-aligned delivery.
- Deliver technical input for project presentations and management updates.
Requirements:
- MSc or equivalent in engineering (environmental, civil, marine, or related field).
- 10–15+ years of experience in offshore wind or large-scale infrastructure projects.
- Strong knowledge of permitting processes in Poland and EU frameworks
- Proven experience engaging with public authorities and regulatory bodies.
- Fluency in both English and Polish (minimum C1).
- Excellent coordination, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong organizational mindset, capable of working independently and under pressure.
