We are seeking a dynamic Country Manager for a leading international company specialising in engineering and offshore solutions for the offshore wind industry. The company has successfully established its presence in Poland and is now expanding its local operations.

- Proven experience in leading and managing a limited liability company (Sp. z o.o.) in Poland.
- Expertise in crafting and executing effective marketing and public relations strategies to enhance the company’s presence and reputation.

Responsibilities:
- Organise the work and resources of the Polish entity of the company and ensure it achieves its mission and objectives in all relevant projects.
- Hands-on approach. Actively participate in day-to-day operations, including administration, sales, marketing, and HR.
- Ensure compliance with Polish legal, financial, and employment regulations.
- Monitor progress against prepared corporate plans and annual business plans to ensure that the company attains its objectives as cost-effectively and efficiently as possible.
- Provide strategic advice and guidance to shareholders, to keep them aware of developments within the Polish industry and ensure that the appropriate policies are developed to meet the company’s mission and objectives and to comply with all relevant statutory and other regulations.
- Establish and maintain effective formal and informal links with major customers, relevant government departments and agencies, local authorities, key decision-makers, and other stakeholders generally, to exchange information and views and to ensure that the company is providing the appropriate range and quality of services.
- Participate in preparing and monitoring the implementation of the annual budget to ensure that budget targets are met, that revenue flows are maximised, and that fixed costs are minimised.
- Develop and maintain an effective marketing and public relations strategy to promote the products, services, and image of the company in the wider community by liaising with the Group’s marketing representatives.
- Taking part in the company in negotiations with customers, suppliers, government departments, and other key contacts to secure the most effective contract terms.
- Participate in the preparation of the annual report and accounts of the Polish entity and ensure their approval by the board.
- Develop and implement strategies to acquire new projects and expand the business footprint.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote services and network with potential partners.
- Develop and direct the implementation of policies and procedures to ensure that the company complies with all health and safety and other statutory regulations.
Competencies:
- Between 4 and 8 years of experience in a similar position.
- Fluent English and Polish, German will be an advantage.
- Technical University degree
- Experience in the industrial construction industry, energy sector preferred, especially the renewables/wind industry.
- Experience in managing a limited liability company.
- Experience in setting up the structures of a foreign company in Poland will be an advantage.
