Fabrication Client Representative

The Fabrication Client Representative acts as the eyes and ears of the Client at the manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for ensuring that all primary and secondary steel components—including Monopiles, Jackets, and Transition Pieces—are fabricated in strict accordance with project specifications, international standards, and health and safety requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Represent the Client’s interests at fabrication yards, monitoring daily execution processes and confirming the completion of project milestones.
- Verify that the contractor adheres to the approved Inspection and Test Plan (ITP) and project contractual requirements.
- Conduct welding and coating audits (including Heat Input and NDT witnessing) to ensure compliance with DNV-OS-C401 and EN 1090 standards.
- Monitor delivery schedules against construction milestones and proactively identify risks to avoid site disruptions.
- Perform final reviews of the Manufacturing Record Book (MRB) and verify as-built technical documentation before shipment.
Required Qualifications
- International Welding Engineer (IWE) or International Welding Inspector (IWI-C).
- FROSIO Level III or NACE Level 2 certification.
- Minimum 10+ years in heavy steel fabrication, with specific experience in Offshore Wind (OWF) components.
- Minimum 5 years in Inspector / Client Representative roles.
- Deep familiarity with DNV, NORSOK, and Eurocodes (EXC3/EXC4).
- Good English and Polish language.
