Project Logistics & Customs Coordinator

Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Project Logistics & Customs Coordinator to manage complex, international supply chains for a large-scale investment project. This role is pivotal in ensuring that critical components move seamlessly from global manufacturing
hubs to the construction site in Poland, maintaining full compliance with international trade regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee end-to-end logistics for project materials originating from Asia, the UK, and the EU.
- Hands-on management of sea freight and road transport, including booking, real-time tracking, and proactive troubleshooting.
- Supervise discharge operations at major Polish ports and coordinate the final "last-mile" delivery to the project site.
- Act as the primary interface with customs brokers to ensure smooth clearance; manage all import/export documentation, including commercial invoices, certificates of origin, and transport documents.
- Ensure correct VAT treatment for imports and intra-community movements in accordance with EU regulations.
- Partner with internal project teams and external suppliers to align delivery schedules with critical construction milestones.
- Identify potential bottlenecks in the supply chain and implement pragmatic solutions to prevent site disruptions.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum of 5+ years in international logistics with a heavy focus on customs coordination.
- Proven track record in managing sea and road freight, including a solid understanding of port operations.
- Strong grasp of EU customs procedures, Incoterms, and trade compliance (including carbon reporting mechanisms).
- Experience in large-scale infrastructure, energy, or complex construction projects is highly desirable.
Language Skills: Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in Polish is considered a
distinct advantage.
