Protection & Control Engineer (HV Systems)
Responsibilities:
- Review and validate protection schemes for HV/MV systems
- Verify configuration and settings of protection relays
- Oversee testing and commissioning of protection systems
- Witness tests using tools such as OMICRON or equivalent
- Analyse system performance and ensure correct protection coordination
- Support energisation and ensure compliance with grid requirements
- Coordinate with SCADA, telecom and commissioning teams
- Review technical documentation and test reports
Requirements:
- Experience in protection & control systems (HV/MV)
- Strong knowledge of protection principles (distance, differential, overcurrent, etc.)
- Familiarity with testing methods and tools (e.g. OMICRON)
- Experience in reviewing contractor deliverables
- Understanding of grid codes and standards
- Very good English
