SENIOR AUTHORISED PERSON (400KV) (m/f)

We are currently looking for an experienced Senior Authorised Person (400kV) (m/f) to join a major offshore wind project.
This role will be based at the Onshore Substation (ONS) in Choczewo and will play a critical part in ensuring the safe commissioning, energisation, and operation of high-voltage electrical systems in accordance with project Electrical Safety Rules.
The SAP will act as Person in Control of the Electrical Installation during work activities and will be responsible for HV switching, safety documentation, and first energisation processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as Senior Authorised Person under the project Electrical Safety Rules
- Take responsibility as Person in Control of the Electrical Installation
- Plan, prepare and carry out HV switching operations (up to 400kV)
- Create and review switching schedules
- Develop safe processes for first energisation
- Manage and issue electrical safety documentation (PTW, LOTO, isolation certificates, etc.)
- Assess electrical risks and review RAMS and work requests
- Ensure safe handover between SAPs during shift changes
- Monitor and operate the electrical system locally and via SCADA when required
- Support commissioning and energisation of electrical systems
- Participate in FAT and SAT activities
- Respond to abnormal conditions and initiate emergency procedures when required
- Coordinate with contractors, APs and other interface teams
- Support development and continuous improvement of Electrical Safety Rules
- Promote a strong safety culture on site
- Maintain accurate records of switching operations, permits and isolations
During Commissioning Phase
- Support design review to ensure operational requirements are incorporated
- Act as Commissioning team representative at the substation
- Witness testing activities where required
- Support training and handover to O&M teams
Requirements
- Extensive experience as Senior Authorised Person (HV systems up to 400kV)
- Strong background in HV commissioning and operation under Electrical Safety Rules
- Proven experience with switching schedules, safety documentation and energisation procedures
- Solid understanding of electrical regulations and HV network operation
- Experience working on large infrastructure, power generation or offshore wind projects is highly desirable
- Fluency in English (mandatory)
- Polish language skills are an advantage
