The SAP 220kV is responsible for safe operation, isolation and switching of the high-voltage export system at the offshore substation level.
Scope includes:
- Control and authorisation of 220kV switching operations at OSS
- Management of HV permits-to-work
- Isolation planning for cable termination and transformer works
- Coordination during testing and energisation of export cables
- Ensuring compliance with the grid code and project HV safety rules
- Supervision of contractor adherence to HV safety procedures
Requirements:
- Recognised Senior Authorised Person certification up to 220kV
- 5+ years of experience in HV systems (220kV minimum)
- Experience in offshore substations or large infrastructure projects
- Strong knowledge of export cable systems and transformer interfaces
- Experience in commissioning and energisation phases
- Familiarity with grid code compliance
- Offshore certificates (GWO / OGUK / Chester Step)
- Fluent English
- Polish language is an advantage
