Responsibilities:
- Project planning using Primavera P6 or ASTA PowerProject
- Experience with LastPlanner
- Organizing and participating in interactive Planning Sessions
- Creating schedules for Engineering, Pre-Construction, Construction, and Commissioning
- Developing project control systems
- Setting up WBS
- Baselining the schedule
- Cost and resource loading as required
- Forecasting project cost and completion date
- Analyzing actual data against plans
- Monitoring schedule for project performance
- Developing schedules, S-Curves, and manpower histograms
- Setting up a progress measurement system (PMS)
- Measuring progress of all work, direct and sub-contract
- Monitoring labor hours and analyzing labor efficiency
- Updating the schedule in Primavera P6
- Reporting earned value for construction progress
- Tracking systems turnover
- Monitoring delays and client notifications
- Monthly project reporting to senior management
- Integrating cost-trending activities throughout the project
- Communicating status and changes affecting the estimate
Requirements:
- Degree or trade qualified in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or related discipline.
- 5+ years experience in a similar role
- Expert knowledge in Primavera P6
