The role of Technical Director is a strategic position in their Polish firm. The role directly reports to the MD and is responsible for 5 business units, 40 staff members.
What kind of leadership we are looking for
If you're a manager focused on fostering the growth of people, who enjoys sharing knowledge, creating a supportive and trusting work environment, and has experience in building technical teams, then you're the one we are looking for as our Technical Director.
Scope of Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for the effective execution of both external and internal contracts related to the construction and management of renewable energy sources (biomethane plants, biogas plants, photovoltaic farms).
Technical departments of the company will report to this position. The role collaborates with the sales department, administrative departments, and finance.
Responsibilities:
- Managing subordinate teams
- Execution of internal and external construction contract portfolios
- Participation in all key moments of the organization's life to efficiently carry out tasks
- Representing the company in contact with clients, partners regarding contract execution
- Planning, delegating, and monitoring the execution of investment portfolios
- Development of subordinate employees
- Continuous improvement of subordinate departments, process optimization including initiating and participating in key development projects of the company (implementing processes, procedures)
Requirements:
- Very good managerial skills
- Highly developed soft skills
- Employee development orientation
- Practical knowledge of construction and design project implementation aspects in the industrial construction sector, preferably in energy construction
- Knowledge of construction law
- Higher technical education
- Knowledge of administrative processes related to investment implementation
- Experience in managing a team of experienced experts and lower-level managers
- Experience in managing investment project portfolios
- Analytical thinking skills and own initiative, good work organization.
- Fluent English
- Availability for business trips
- Willingness to work in a 100% stationary model, at the office in Warsaw (near Warsaw Chopin Airport)
