Telecom & Network Engineer (SCADA / Communication)
Responsibilities:
- Review and oversee design and implementation of communication systems
- Verify configuration and performance of:
firewalls
VPN
switches and routers
- Ensure reliable transmission of SCADA signals, telemetry and data
- Oversee integration of telecom systems with substation and offshore infrastructure (OSS)
- Witness FAT/SAT and commissioning activities related to telecom systems
- Monitor and resolve issues related to industrial communication networks
- Ensure compliance with cybersecurity and project requirements
- Coordinate with electrical and commissioning teams
Requirements:
- Experience in telecom / industrial networks / SCADA systems
- Knowledge of communication protocols (e.g. IEC 61850, Modbus, TCP/IP)
- Understanding of network infrastructure and cybersecurity requirements
- Experience in energy / HV / substation projects
- Ability to review and validate contractor designs and configurations
- Very good English
